So Easter was snowy...but I had a great time with my friends here in Colorado. There was LOTS of food, talking, debating, game playing, and laughing. I had worked the night before and so went to the 9AM service on no sleep. Went home, caught a 2 hour nap, and then went over to the guys house. I ended up being there until 10:30 PM! It was a lot of fun and just relaxing.

Today, I went to the UPS Store to ship something and overheard a woman talking about Belize. Turns out she's FROM Belize and is heading back there soon. She was shipping some stuff back and so I interjected that I had been there recently. She's from Chaa Creek...where Dr. Rosita Arvigo is from! It was cool to make that connection. Well then I had the urge to call Renae, so glad I did! She was actually home! I really wish I would have had more classes with her. What an amazing woman...

God has been really good to me. It amazes me that I repeatedly don't remember all He has done and continues to do. I was at small group tonight and was just really letting God sift through some stuff in my life. And then someone started reading Psalms 23...something I haven't read in ages. It just seems so simplistic and cliche...but God uses those simple things to bring us back to Him. Thank you Lord. What really hit home was the part "Even though I walk through the shadow of death, you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

Easter was snowy for you too, huh? Glad it was a good one. :) And I am soooo excited to have Renae's class in the fall! I'll tell ya all about it, I'm sure.

well, the reports probably summarize the issues better than i can, and i am working on articulating what i think. :) this is the sort of thing i need to sit down and write about, otherwise whatever i try to say will come out completely wrong and probably won't be what i meant to say.

Hi Mel,

Nate is doing good and will hopefully stay that way. Maryland is still being prayed about, stuff has to happen on both ends before jeff can say yes. and I forget the other question?? oh yeah the motorcycle. Yes we sold my motorcycle and the harley got totalled when Bobby had it so the only one is the custom that I can't ride even if I wanted to which i don't b/c its too obnoxious. Yes, its our birthday soon! I'm way older.

Hehe. Well I've heard that Renae's class isn't that hard, but does that really suprise you?

I've never really been one to study that much anyway...

Oh, and the classes I want to audit are both with the same prof! I'm sure he's going to think I'm crazy.

The religion prof. is Griffeon(sp?). I have a few friends who love him, but I've heard that his classes are a lot of work. Which won't matter if I don't take them for credit. ;)

I saw Renae this morning at the 5K! Landen was running it. My mom and I went by her and she was like, "Go, Rachel! Go, Rachel's mom!" Haha! I love her.

Oh good! I'm glad it turned out well. Old people are pretty much the greatest. This guy at work tonight was watching some church on TV and belting out, "How Great Thou Art." It was so cute. :) I missed you when I was at work today because we ordered Chinese and I started joking about how they had Chinese restaurants in random countries like Belize. And then I was just like, "Dang, that was so fun! I miss hanging out with Melanie all the time!" Random...I know...Chinese food. I have some leftover Moo Shu Pork to go eat. ;)

diuril and then lasix a half hour later. it's not that exciting, but it was the most interesting thing i did during a slooooooow day!

it also occurred to me that i would feel a lot worse if i ran over a person than i did running over my ipod. decatastrophization...gotta love mental health. ;)
